My introduction to visual storytelling began with my work in the music industry.
While working for the Austin-based live streaming company TourGigs, I learned to be a video operator. After years of filming concerts nationally and internationally, I became interested in still photography. This is when I inherited my father's 1980's Canon 35mm camera, a.k.a. "dad's old camera." My passion was shaped by Danny Clinch, whom I have been fortunate enough to work with over the years, and Ty Roberts, the first man to encourage me to visually tell a story. I absolutely love working with musicians. I strive to earn a mutual respect and trust that allows me to accurately portray the intimacy and creativity that occurs in this world.
